Helga Reguly | PhD Student
My PhD research targets the main question of how the nervous system integrates information from multiple sensory inputs. My work puts an emphasis on how multisensory integration emerges through childhood leading to the adult-like behavior that takes maximum advantage of the reach sensory information available in our environment. While investigating this problem, I focus on the computational level of human perception using traditional and newly developed mathematical models of multisensory integration.
